Why would one weekend in Chicago have more expensive hotel rooms then any other?
So I am trying to book a room online for the first weekend in June in Chicago. The rooms are twice to three times as much that weekend than any other two months prior to and after (to include 4th of July weekend). Any idea why? I checked event calendars etc and nothing special is going on. I just find it strange. Do the travel sites maybe track by IP address? Thanks!

usually in the summer the rooms be higher than winter spring
